Anyone use 40 gauge ??? Needing to replace clear vinyl on my side curtains and I know im gonna spend $$$ to get the quality I want. I have had 30 gauge before but the 40 is only slightly more expensive .My concern is that I may not be able to roll it up at all.I already know ,the heavier the gauge ,the less it will roll.Rather than opinions,What I am hoping to get is feedback someone that has actually used or had 40 gauge previously .Thanks Charlie

I would ask the seller if thicker actually solves the issues your trying to fix. Higher UV and quality material may be better than thicker. Thicker doesn’t necessarily mean longer lasting in all cases. It may fog over just as fast or even kink or damage easier because its less likely to roll and its heavier so it may fold and crease instead of rolling smoothly. But I dont know Ive used some thick vinyl that didnt seem to perform any better than the thin stuff it replaced. If you want puncture resistance then thats a different story.
