Congratulations Butch! Pictures man! Show it off :)

My opinion is that you can run a 3 gal tank and get away with it, assuming you're going easy on the throttle and not going long distances (smaller lakes and such). But inevitably - at least in my experience - you'll wind up going somewhere that you'll want the 6 gallon capacity for. Would a different tank fit in the area better?

I just found a tank with the help of the previous owner that is a 6 gallon that will fit lik a glove.

Looks like a real nice rig! That 35 should push that very nicely! Keep the fuel fresh and run some good 2- cycle oil and that motor will last forever.

Congratulations! Glad you found one with all the paperwork, I would feel confident that it was well taken care of because the owner cared enough to keep/get proper records.
