Some wheels have 2 bolt holes and you screw in those outer bolts then the center pushes and the outer pulls. Think thats just cars though.

You got it covered Clever, just remove the Cobalt emblem, remove nut and washer, then use this

Thanks, good info, I am reluctant to remove Cobalt emblem as I don't want to ruin it and figure I can't buy replacement, I have taken small screwdriver around edge to see if it will pop off, not sure if it's snap fit or adhesive?

Maybe whole center triangle piece might come off, don't know. Are there any screws behind the wheel?

I found that the triangle piece is just a snap fit, the steering wheel is attached by 6 screws, no puller needed.
I'm embarrassed that I asked how to, when it was that simple.
Hopefully this will help out someone else

Clever Screen Name-damn your interior is almost exact as mine except my steering wheel is the wood/leather one, I contacted Cobalt for a replacement, they responded saying that wheel is no longer available and the cost would be over a grand if it was, I have a quote to repair mine, 450.00, may just shop for aftermarket

Thanks for everyone's input
