help with fishing lake okoboji

My brother won a free stay at the village west resort and we were thinking about going in may to fish for some bluegills and crappies. when in may would be the best time to go and where at on okoboji would be the best place. never fished the lake.

I would be interested in this as well. I live over in South Dakota and like to take an occasional trip over to Okoboji. Usually it's for pleasure but I wouldn't mind doing some fishing.

They will be more than helpful with the most up to date fishing reports. I'm not sure where they are catching them, but they are catching lots on hair jigs.

I see that this was not a very recent thread, but felt compelled to comment.

I haven't been there since I was about 10 YO. Happy to see the name pop up. I know many that claim to be alumni of their fine university. :facepalm:
