Well I got my first bass boat this year and I'm looking for good places to fish around MA. T

he Merrimack looks interesting, but if someone could give me a little more information on ramps, any obvious dangers for boats. I looked on the MA state website, around lowell best place to put in? Any input would be greatly appreciated:cool:

BTW I have a 16 foot Deep_V Tracker.

There's fish there. But you want to be carefull in the lowell area. Lotsa rocks etc. I lost my prop and skeg in there years ago. It's also got quite a bit of current so i hope you have a pretty good engine on that 16

The Merrimack is safe once you are upstream, but close to shore specially during incoming tide you will encounter very nasty currents and often those go combined with real nasty waves.Lots of boats get in deep trouble there every year.
Bass boats should stay inland.
