Re: Salmon (Broadstock)

hi, are u trolling or casting, and what size salmon we talking about here?. i use all silverstreaks, and meps lures and the magnum size seems to work the best.when i cast for coho, they run an average of 3 to 5 lbs. here' so i also use alot of little cleos for them. but just about anything will work...good luck.....bob

Re: Salmon (Broadstock)

hi ed. then i would definatly use little cleo's or something similar. [ you want to get the lure out as far as possible]. and a fairly fast retreive is desirable. salmon seem to like a fast moving lure, also bright colors seem to help.i guess u need to experiment a bit and see what seems to work best in your area, but this info should give you a starting point. good luck.....bob
