Yamaha 2stroke long shaft outboard Model15MLHW. Mfg 01/98.
Problem is I can feel sideplay on the flywheel and I suspect a defective top needle bearing. Unit is not dissassembled at this time. Trying to fix it for a friend.
1. Is this bearing a replaceable by the home mechanic or is it a machine shop issue?
2. I have searched for replacement powerheads with little success.
3. Is this a parts motor?
