I got a gallon of old Yamaha TC-W3 oil that has been opened then re-capped and stored for about 5 yrs.
Is it still good for use in my 2 stroke?

It does not deteriorate over time. As long as it's not contaminated, it's fine to use. I'm using oil that's over 10 yrs. old w/o problems.

Wildone is correct for the most part. I have seen stored oil coagulate at the bottom over time, possibly due to the plastic container it was stored in. So be aware of what it is stored in.

Be sure to shake it up really well to get the additives that may have settled back into suspension.

Thanks guys. Saved me a few bucks.
The oil was stored in the original container, I'll shake it up real good and strain it into a glass jar to see if anything has lumped up before I use it.
