Yamaha F 20 ELH 4 stroke wont idle

I Have a Yamaha F 20ELH. 2008. That won't idle. It wouldn't start after setting for a while took it to shop . when I picked it up they had cleaned carb and new kit $200 then said got it running but it won't idle prolly going take a new carb to fix. I have been using it it starts easy And idled way fast if idle down it dies ...my question is this normal ....ya think I should buy new carb or can someone else maybe fix it? I know I am sick of fighting it on the lake lol. Appreciate some thoughts. Thanks. Everett

The high idle sounds like a vacuum leak causing the issue.. Might want to inspect intake gaskets / O-rings.

Pretty bad the dealership would give the engine back as such...

Being an 4 stroke, I would think there is more to this motor/carb and RPM than you think.
Do you have a service manual for your motor?
if not either get one or find a Yamaha shop that knows what they are doing when cleaning and setting the carbs

there is one pasage responsible for transporting fuel on idle.on the path is 2 yellow plugs. just to drill it out with 2 mm drill clean pasage and plug it back
