Hello everyone. I'm new to the forum so please forgive me if my limited search abilities couldn't get me the answer I'm looking for, but here's the question:
I have a 2002 Yamaha 60HP 2-stroke (C60 same from 92-05 as I recall) that I'm considering replacing with a 2005 Yamaha 90HP 2-stroke that comes with no controls (unknown exactly which model designation at this time as it's a local classifieds sale). Will my remote controls from my 60HP work in a plug-and-play fashion with the 90HP model?
The motors look nearly identical except for HP and year of manufacture. It just seems to me that this would be an easy motor swap. What am I missing?
