Rinda keeps dropping connection to ECM

Hello all,
I've recently purchased a Rinda Techmate Pro to diagnose an engine problem.
With increasing frequency, my Techmate Pro keeps losing the data connection to the ECM, or not being able to find it at all.
I suspect that my adapter, 94029, is faulty. I only get continuity on two pins when I check the adapter with an ohmeter.
I asking for someone who has adapter 94029 to do a continuity check on their adapter and let me know the results.
I have an email into Rinda regarding this, but with it being a holiday weekend, I doubt I will get a response before next week.

Thanks for any assistance,
T

Never mind, RInda contacted me and told me there is an actual circuit board inside the 94029 adapter. Coninuity checks cannot be done.

Check your wiring to the engine connector

Pin A - Black Ground
Pin B - White/Black ECM Pin A-12
Pin C - Whilte/Purple ECM Pin A-5
Pin D - Purple 12V

Thanks Alldodge,
I'll check that on my next trip up to the boat.
Am I looking for any kind of voltage on Pin B and C or will that be just a continuity check?

Just continuity, my guess its a bad pin connection on the DLC plug
