1991 Four Winns liberator 5.7 chevy overheating due to suction of air through outdrive on plane ONLY. I believe Ive narrowed the problem down to suction of air somewhere between the suction side of the impellor and the water pickup. this means it is either a compromised water tube or watertube o-ring. This has been verified by a clear tube going from the oil cooler to the thermostat housing.

I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with an issue like this where air is being sucked ONLY while on plane and outdrive is partially exposed to air. impellor is new, adapter plate is sealed, and wear plate is in good condition. but still sucking bubbles and losing water pressure from the outdrive one on plane.
narrowing down to possibly the water pickup tube?

I am running out of options and the list of things that is NOT the issue growing! Any input would be greatly appreciated, -brandon
