Trim limit/ Senders for OMC to SEI Conversion

Hello everyone,

I have a 1988 Pismo 5.7 that had the Cobra Drive stolen off the back. I have decided to replace it with an SEI drive and the OMC conversion kit. On their site they state:

• This kit does not keep the function of the trim position sensor. You could make an adjustable L bracket to activate the plunger.

I am wondering if and how I can get trim sender and trim limit functionality and if anyone has experimented with this at all?
If so, what does this look like ?

I am at a total loss on this one and could really use some help. Thanks in advance!
