Serial question

Hi everyone happy boating can't wait to be floating.


So for the life of me I can't seem to find this mercury serial anywhere online, it's either 0B09975 or oBo9975 and belongs to a supposed early ninetys 4cylinder 100 hp two stroke mercury outboard and I'm trying to cross reference to see weather or not the lower unit off of a 1996 115hp 2+2 mercury will fit it or not only I can't even find a record of the affore mentioned serial as belonging to any Merc can anyone help me out here

The serial number needs another digit on the end, format is a zero, letter and 6 more numbers
