What could be the issue with 50HP mercury outboard motor to run slow in water

Hi all friend

Just a quick question and wondering what could be the issue for 50HP mercury outboard motor to run slow and not fast in the water the way it should be.

I serviced both Carburetor on 2 stroke 4 cylinder mercury motor.

Any suggestion would really help.

Could be A to Z. More clues would help.....usage history. How fresh is your fuel? Plugs changed? Compression? Fuel pump? Fuel filter...any particles inside filter?..............
