Mercury 150XL 2B075792 Bent shift shaft (long)

hi all,
just needing a bit of help.
after an unsuccessful re-fit of the lower assembly, the shift shaft has found to be bent in three places.
how can i remove the bent shift shaft and would anyone have a parts catalog/repair manual for this model which i can possibly have a look at the correct pages?

easiest way is to remove the powerhead first

awesome thanks, would you possibly know the part number for the shaft?
i also require the part number of the rubber locating trumpet for the bottom if you know that?

I think you can index part numbers with the serial number of your motor, on the crowleymarine website.
