Rev limiter or ??? won't go to full throttle

Only jet drives got the rev limiter option....sounds like a switchbox,statoror if equipped with CDM ignition a module is bad.

Update .....
The #1 coil pack was the issue. It is back to smooth acceleration and cruising at 5000 RPM.

Sorry didn't see the continuation of the tread and the fix. Due to ignition system design whenever CDM #1 fails neither #2 nor #3 will work, so engine stalls.

Btw my 2000-01 90 ELPTO has no rev limiter even though the bullet connectors (with black rubber blanking plugs in them) for its attachment are there.
