Alpha 1, Gen 2 - Speedo Not Working

I replaced my water impeller, hooked everything back-up the way it came off.

Now the kicker is that my Speedo does not work? (Worked prior to impeller replacement).

Where is the Speedo located?

How do I check it or clean it possibly?

I assume that I'm not the 1st person this has happened too. I'm really stumped on this one.

Speedo is located usually at the dash, pickup is that little black hose you removed when you split the drive.

I put the black hose back in place. Is it possible that I didn't in there all the way?

Could dirt in the black line or white unit cause it mal-function?

I've had the boat out twice since the repair, no speedo reading.

check to make sure the clip is installed all the way down, speedo measures water pressure so air pressure can check the operation of the gauge. O ring still there?

Yes, you just push in & turn to secure it correct?

I'm thinking there is something in the tube in the lower itself leading up to the pick-up (black hose).

Has your speedo stopped working before?

I had a problem like this on my old boat. I had to take a small drill bit and put it in a tap wrench and dill (by hand) the debris out and then I took an air compressor and blew air threw were the tube hooks up and it worked like new.
