Looking to upgrade to this sea ray. It has a 6.2 fresh water cooled motor. Has only 150 hours on it. Are the manifolds and risers suspect already. All usage was in salt water. Don't want to pay for a survey. What else should I be paying attention to ? I will do a compression test.

Are the manifolds fresh water cooled also? It should also have the DryJoint style exhaust system, which is a good thing.
Be very careful doing a compression test on someone else's boat (if they even let you) and be sure you disable the EFI and ignition system before doing the compression test, or it won't mean much.

I know I don't allow anyone to start working on MY engine, I don't know their abilities.
If they want a compression test done, they can pay a certified tech to do it.
Besides if you mess up a plug wire or break a spark plug, or the engine won't run after you finish or ........................... get the picture
