Re: 94 merc.3.0LX "looking for carbie kit"

ok guys after a lot of research this is what i came up with!!!!!Mercruiser Mercarb Rebuild Kit
Sierra #18-7098 or #3302-804844

Mercarbs can be identified by the single adjustment screw in the carb base (as opposed to 2 adjustment screws used on Rochester 2 barrels).SIERRA 18-7098 This kit is for the Mercarb that has an accelerator pump with a 90 degree bend. If your Mercarb has the straight shaft accelerator pump, then you want the Sierra #18-7097 or #3302-804845

Replaces Part #: Mallory Marine 9-37612, GLM76086

Fits the Following Mercruiser Applications:

If you buy that Sierra kit at NAPA, SIERRA 18-7098, it is superseded by part number SIERRA 18-7098-1, which basically means they changed nothing but now the kit costs $65.99 plus tax instead of 59.99.

I just bought one and put it on my mercarb and it appears to work well. Wish it came with new jets, but those are separate. It does have a powervalve though.

Has anyone found where you can buy just the float bowl gasket? I could use 2 or 3 of those.
