Trim Limit

HI all! I recently replaced my trim limit and trim sender switches and am having some issues with the Trim Limit. Anyone have a video on how to adjust? Basically mine is not registering at all and I'm not sure if I did not connect it properly or if I'm failing in "adjusting" it. Seems to be a lack of info online about this topic. Thanks!

trim limit is connected directly to the pumps wiring . Install with index mark lined up, then adjust to 20 1/2 inches travel

Thanks. Where on the cylinder should the 20.5 inches measure from/to?
