79 Nova twin 260

Help! Just purchased as nearly complete restoration. Key on nothing energises except starter. There is no bundle of hots to connect to battery. Only one, it goes to tilt trim solenoid. Where should I be looking for all the other hot wires?

Start with a voltmeter and trace wires

What motors are in it?

Ayuh,..... Welcome Aboard,..... There should be only 1, or 2,.....

One to the starter solenoid, 'n the trim pump's cable, either from the battery, or piggybacked off the starter's solenoid,.....

Ok, I put a second battery in on the other side and presto. All the hit stuff got power. So new to twin power. The twin 260Hp Chevy 350's each have a battery, but accessory power only comes off of one.

somethings wrong then because you should have one battery for each engine
