Impeller recommendations

I have a 1995 Alpha I Gen II outdrive. It’s time for a new impeller. What is the “best” brand to use, with the longest life expectancy?

Sierra 18-3056 $16

I'll go for Sierra with some parts. Some are the same GKN parts that Merc buys.
But not here. For $7 OEM is the way to go.

X2 on oem merc impeller the kit without the housing is less than $50. In My experience lasted almost twice as long as aftermarket ones

Merc and Sierra impellers are made by the same manufacturer. The difference is Merc go though the production run and select the impellers they want (based on QC). Sierra (and the other aftermarket suppliers) get the rest, the 'rejects'....

OEM is both the best, and the cheapest... (Even though OEM 'costs' the most to buy, it's still the cheapest )
