Looking for help identifying a 496 in a boat im looking to buy next week. All 496s I know are fuel injected this is carbed in a 2000 raysoncraft 21ft jetboat. Any way to tell between a regular 454
I'm pretty sure that isn't a 496 because the exhaust manifolds are not right. The 496 needed unique manifolds do to port locations. Its probably a 454 or 502. Look for the block casting number, should be 12556110
