I have a 1986 Mercruiser 260 with an alpha one drive. Recently I replaced the fuel pump with a Mercruiser brand pump and I noticed fuel coming through the vent line to the carb from the pump. The only two reasons I could suspect fuel to be in this line would be a broken diaphram or fuel somehow getting through the carb port (unlikely) in my case???
