4.3 Rotational Noise

After normal running, I am experiencing a cycling rubbing noise in my 4.3 Merc... vintage mid 90's. Have disconnected all belts and outdrive with no change in the sound. Can barely hear when first started but becomes more intense as engine heats up. So far no apparent effect on performance. I have a good video with the noise. Someone mentioned it may be the harmonic balancer. Any ideas? Thank you.

since we cant see or hear it, and your vauge "mid 90's" will not narrow it down. (the 4.3 had 3 design generations in the 90's)

Wouldn't be gimbal bearing with the drive removed.

Boat is a 1995 Bayliner Capri 2051SS.. BIYA24CCJ495.

Yes, outdrive was completed disconnected.
