I recently purchased a '92 Cajun 150. It is rated for a 90hp engine, but has a 60hp Johnson. The boat itself is a special edition, from Travis Boat Center in Abilene I believe. The model # on the engine is funny, though. It is J60TLENE. I cannot find this exact # anywhere, only TLEN. Can I assume that they are similar when looking for parts and such? Please help.

It's a 1992 60 HP Johnson, 20" shaft with trim-n-tilt. What's so funny? I don't get it.

Good luck!

Re: Johnson Engine Model #

Thanks gentlemen. The only problem that I was having was finding the exact number. My engine has an extra "E" at the end of the model number. I thought they would be the same, but I don't have good luck when making assumptions. Thanks!

Re: Johnson Engine Model #

The extra letter is a running change in the production line that has no major effect on engine model.

Good luck!
