I have a motor I am restoring and the motor has like a manifold atttached to the side. But, I looked at other motors of the same kind online and they have the center hole pluged like this photo. What does this hole do? and do I need it or can it run pluged like the photo?
Should you decide to convert to running the engine with a 6 gallon tank, that is where you would install the fuel pump. If you're running with the engine's top mounted fuel tank, that hole would require plugging.
+1. This may help with your motor too. It's for a 3 hp Evinrude which is virtually identical to your motor. You can get any routine parts you may need right here at iboats.
