Mud Dauber in action

It's only kinda outboard related, but a friend of mine managed to shoot some pictures of a mud dauber in action. This is what clogs up those tell-tale tubes.

glad i was not eating. hate them. and yes the love the tail tale hoses, carbs, and fuel tank vents.

Cool pix! I had one circling my motor the other day while I was working on it. He hovered around for probably an hour. I'm pretty sure he was scoping for a place to call home.........

I hate those critters. I remember jumping overboard and swimming underwater as far as I could when I was a kid on more than one occasion.
