  • Evinrude 6 hp year and fuel mixture?

I have an Evinrude Fisherman 6 hp model 6402 C, S/N J0008060. Can anyone tell me the year for this motor and the fuel mixture I should use? Also, is there a different manual for each year or does one manual cover a range of years for 6 hp models?

    That's a 1974 Model.
It should use 50:1 (everything after the late 60's)

You should use 87 US Octane to TCW-3 oil at a 50:1.
      ratio.

The model number is for 1974 6HP Evinrude.

      Trade for my 1965?

Some factory service manuals cover a range of Horsepower ratings, but just one year.
