Hello guys,
I am working on repairing my 70hp. To do that I had to pull the head to replace the top piston. The bolts were badly seized to the head, so in the process of removing the head I put a couple gouges into the outer edge of the water jacket (if thats what its called). It there an epoxy that I can fill those gouges the sand smooth? I dont believe there is a lit of pressure there. FYI. I am replacing the cylinder because it sucked a screw in from the carb covers. put a hole in the cylinder. It didnt score the cylinder much at all but pitted the head a bit but I can polish it up. should be finer for what I use it for.
Thanks
Mike
