84 115hp johnson. Intermittent spark

Sometimes I've got spark. Sometimes I dont. I've changed the coils and the power pack any ideas. The starboard bank has fire. But not the port bank

Are the wires from the pack and stator and timer base all crusty with failing insulation and what not?

Inspect the starter.----Load test the battery.-------Inspect battery cables.-------All no " money spent " things to do.------If motor does not turn fast there will be spark issues.----Just a fact with those magneto driven ignition systems.
