Johnson red plug question

Hi I have an 88 Cajun and an 86 Johnson 120 that I plan on pairing up. The only thing I'm missing is the harness from the boat to the big red plug on the engine. I have found a few for sale on eBay, but my question is are they all the same, & if not what are the things I need to know to get the correct harness?

A control with a red plug will work on a motor with a red plug.----It is that simple.

Yep... What racer said. There's a few different colors... Red, Yellow, Black come to mind at the moment.
