Johnson Control box question

I have a 1995 Key West Sportsman with a 1984 Johnson (115TLCRD) 115hp on it. The owner before me has a Mercury Quicksilver throttle control box on it and the cables are not a good fit for a OMC outboard. I was going to replace the cables and control box with an OMC box and was wondering if they are fairly universal. I found a few OMC ones on eBay. Would someone mind checking these out and letting me know if these would work with my motor?
