1973 evinrude 115 idle fast and missfire

Hey guys thank you for taking time out to read and respond. I have a 1973 evinrude 115 that I'm trying to get running better. It has a high idle and it missfires every other second my motor isn't straight up and down it is tilted. could that cause the missfires? What'ssome things I could do? Thank you once again.

No expert here but motor straightness eh....
id start with timing, carb and spark. How’s the compression?

Carburetors opening too soon will cause a misfire.------Have you confirmed spark on all 4 that jumps a gap of 7/16" or more , yes or no ?----And post your compression numbers too.----Did this problem start suddenly ?----A " new to you motor " perhaps.

Exhaust popping and high idle are typical when running on muffs. Try it in the water.

The compression I tested last fall I had from 110-115 on all 4 cylinders. I can confirm spark as of last fall on all 4 I will check to make sure it is all sparking this weekend and I'll have to check the gap. I got champion spark plugs QL77JC4. I will try to make the motor straight is there a way I could make a video and post it?
