Bowrider Trolling Motor Mount

I noticed that there is a lot of problems mounting the quick release plates for trolling motors on bowrider boats. I came up with this idea after looking at some of the linkage on my buddies race car.
I haven't finished the lower rear 3 mounts yet. Waiting for the brackets still.
I am hoping to go test it next weekend.
Here is a pic my Minnkota trolling motor mount on my 1987 VIP Bowrider. Let me know what you guys and girls think.

Looks neat and should work fine. Sissor mounts are a lot more difficult to mount because of the larger footprint. Power Drives have a much smaller footprint so they are considerably easier to install.
