battery hook up 24 volt

I must be getting old forgot how to wire 2 12 volt batteries for 24 volt trolling motor any helpwould be appreciated. I wish i could find that ....... book

You will wire them in series.

remember, if you wire in series, your voltage is additive and your current will stay the same. think of this like a big 4 battery mag-lite stacking the batteries.
when in parallel, the current will change (amps) but the voltage will stay same.
