Re: What is your favorite song to listen to out on the water?
All Summer Long (My number one, by Kid Rock)
Any Bob Marley (Get a "Best of" CD set)
Any Jimmy Buffet (Boats, Beaches, Ballads and Bars is a good four CD set)
If I had a boat (I think it's the Garth Brooks version, not Lyle Lovett)
Some Beach Boys for wake surfing!
Legalize it by Peter Tosh
Some UB-40
A few Kenny Chesney (Listed previously)
Calypso by John Denver
Longer Boats by Cat Stevens
Gordon Lightfoot offers some songs about boats and the oceans and the high seas.
-The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald - a profound and deep song about the Edmund Fitzgerald, which sank in Lake Superior in a vicious storm in 1975 with all 29 crew members perishing.
-High and Dry - song about the love of sailing
-On The High Seas - same as above
-Canary Yellow Canoe - about his own favourite canoe
-Ghosts of Cape Horn - song about the hundreds (1000's probably) of sailors lost in their adventures around the famous cape.
