Ya know . . . hmmmmm . . . I just read some stuff on her myspace deal. Not sure why, but I did. Anyway, if that stuff's true and it's really her voice, this girl is OK with me. She's a survivor, has a lot of friends that seem to really care about her and she has some talent too . . . Call me a sucker, but I kinda think she's awright. Would I want my daughter to follow in her footsteps? He77 no!! But that's for me and my mythical daughter to figure out, not this chick's prob . . .

Just read that little Ms. Ashley Dupre made 1.4 MILLION dollars in download sales of her two songs in the first two days after her true identity and website addresses became known.

That equates to $29,166 per hour ..... looks like ole Elliot got her cheap!

The big deal is the American media craze for scandal and gossip. Tha saddest part is they believe, correctly, that is what their public wants.

This thread is proof of that.

What JB said here is spot on. I'm tired and bored with all of the negativity on TV. Why in hell do we as tax payers finance a justice dept; when we already have trial by the media?

Whatever happened to innocent until proven guilty in a court of law?

I'm not insinuating that the NewYork govenor is not perhaps hypocritical and may not have broken the law.

Personally all of this mad frenzy in a rush to publicly denigrate and pass judgement prior to a trial is totally out of control.

I sincerely doubt that an unbiased jury pool if and when needed can be selected after this.
