The carb in the photograph from the OP is definitely NOT a type 2, that is a type three.
The dead giveaway even if someone somehow jerry rigged the plastic carb bowI onto the carb, is that you can see the primer solenoid fuel inlet barb on the back of the carb body that bolts up against the intake manifold.
99.99999% certain that there were no OEM carbs of the type 2 carbs that had the primer solenoid setup instead of choke butterflies.
Your intermediate jets are in the carb bowl vertically, you have to remove the carb bowl to service/replace them.
The main/high speed jets are the horizontal ones that are removed/installed on the outside of the carb
