Just replaced both belts on my new Poulan Pro.....Same as the Sears.10 minutes to replace both.
Push in the clutch-brake to loosen the drive belt and it came right off the trans pulley..
Wonder why Troy Built made it so hard...:confused:

I don't know, but they sure did. Maybe the anti-seize I put on the pulley/crankshaft will save me next time I have to change it.

I used my Dewalt impact...Did 3 motors in one day and the pulley just fell off when the bolt came out...Did not have to hold the engine from turning at all...
That was luck..;)

I just got one of those. It's the corded model. Haven't even used it yet. I'll have to keep it in mind for situations such as that.
