Holy Moly, SNS is here!

Hey buddy, you do know you left iBoats hanging with your 2 to 1 frankenstein Islander idea right?

Haha. I just read over it. You guys are so funny had my crying.

It's been to long. If I had a empty garage I would attempt it as business for me exploded the past3 years and susurprisingly I've been slow the past month.

WINTER PROJECT FINISHED. Yesterday the paint was dry and our restored 185 FM-160 is now ready for the water. Before/WIP pictures already posted on January 22. Here are the after shots. All that ramains is a paint job on the trailer. DSC_0468.jpgDSC_0473.jpgDSC_0467.jpgDSC_0469.jpgDSC_0470.jpg

Thanks. For the most part it was a enjoyable job. I'm pleased with the results. wz

PS: Hey, Seanymphstriper, where are you from on Long Island? I lived there for 46 years.

Re: The Official Sea Nymph Forum for seanymph Boat Owners

Hi from the left coast. Spent a few hours today looking at a SN 14 1999 with a Honda 9.9 02 motor and just found you guys.
He wants $2400 for it with a lot of bells and whistles. Seems in good shape with a few dings.
Could you guys give me advice on what to look for as potential problems / deal killers?
Thanks
Cal

Welcome to iboats!!

Read this thread on buying. http://forums.iboats.com/boat-topic...help-buying-boat-buyers-checklist-635170.html

Just my opinion.....you can't go wrong with an aluminum boat.

Great looking end result Wayne! I dig the green. What kind of carpet did you use? Really slick boat. :)

Heads up fire, no selling stuff on iboats.

So, why are you selling anyhow? I see you just bought this last summer eh?

Thanks. The carpet is Syntec Agressor 16 oz. in True Micah Mist. Nice tight weave. No big loops in which the fishhooks could get caught.

Additionally, I just received my replacement data plate from Lowe Boats. Cost was $40.00 for the research and new metal plate. If anyone is interested, you may contact Evan Caltron, the compliance & certification manager at Lowe. His email is: evan.caltron@lowe.com. A scanned photo is attached.

At the bottom of your post up there just click "Edit" and you can take out the sales info.

Tractor = Work

Boat + Fun!

I sure hope you snagged a nice tractor!

Re: The Official Sea Nymph Forum for seanymph Boat Owners

I have a 175ss and is needs some restoration. Motor is good. I have a couple questions.
Can the steering wheel be adjusted? When I am going fast, the steering wheel is upside down(yeah, I know I'm neurotic) I have popped the steering wheel off and tried to adjust it that way.
Anyone have pics of what kind of bimini top works on this boat?? It has slide rails.
I also need a ladder. Does anyone have ideas of what works. The transom is narrow(maybe 12")
Thanks

Re: The Official Sea Nymph Forum for seanymph Boat Owners

Didn't see this thread before I posted. Am looking to find seats for my recently inherited Sea Nymph 12K. Haven't been able to find them on the web or locally in the Phoenix area. Any suggesting would be appreciated.
