Is the High Water Alarm only an alarm or is does the light turn on when the auto bilge pump kicks in?

I have wired my boat using anderson high current dissconnects. This allows me quick access to a battery or moving a batery in the boat. I use 2 batteries for trolling. I use 1 battery for starting and electronics. If my starting battery gets weak. I can jump it or replace it using another battery

The outboard needed a few parts. Some where routine tune up. Others were replaced for dry rotted wires

Sometime it takes a second pair of eyes to see the obvious promblem. Kimba the boat mechanic took one look and saw my spark issue. Bad coil ( slight buldge or crack) and a weak ground

We then put outboard into 55 gallon drum and added some fuel

Motor started up. Ran smooth, but all 3 carbs PUKED gas.

Turned out during the rebuild of the carbs. Part 4 and 5 were reversed and part 4 was inverted. This caused the needle to never seat properly.

Then diaster struck -1 needle fell out. We heard 1 ping and then silence. After searching for 1 hour our in transom, boat, outboard and the sewer directly below the motor, i have to order another needle

Oh man that's a bummer, one of the things that ticks me off is dropping something and the hunt that ensues.

Good progress, I hope that doesn't keep you from getting her in the water before freeze up.

Had a couple of buddies come over and help knock off a few items on the check list, along with a few adult beverages. One job i hate is trying to put decals on a straight line. My good buddy helped me. He read the instructions and drank 1 adult beverage. He measured wonce! Drank 1 adult beverage . He applied. Drank 2 adult beverage. He went to the port side. He applied I will let him finish before I point out some minute concerns I have.
