Removed the sun faded torn vinyl from the gunnels. Painted them with truck bed liner material tinted 054.jpg 024.jpg to match the rest of the color scheme

Installed 2 bilge pumps and new live well pump. 1 bilge pump has a float switch. I added a buzzer and light to float switch to console to indicate high water in boat. The other bilge pump and live well pump are wired to on off switches on the cluster.

Lucky enough to live near spectaclur fall fishing. Maybe best in North America. Currently we have a heavy nite bite going. Lot of 8-9 lb fish. Some going 12lb

My goal is try to splash before 12/21 and include serious fishing attempt. Want to try to break the boat in on a big one

I designed a circuit for my bilges. I wanted an indicator either visually or audible to indicate excess water in the boat. The intention if water is higher than desired the indicator would be triggered. I upgraded bilge to 900 gph and increased the hose size to 1"

The transom has been reshaped. I love to fish and I now realize I am going to want a work area to prepare fishing lines, unhook fish, etc. So my plan is to trim the transom in FAKE wood and double up on the center part. That should give me a 11" work area

11" area, not very optimistic on your catch size. JK

That's the great thing about rebuilding your boat, you can make it how you want it with your imagination being the limit. Like your cooler idea and I put an in deck cooled into my SeaNymph's front casting deck

Nice build SPL...

I like the bilge plan you have created. I like the idea of alarming if the water level rises! I will look to use something like this in my build. Thanks for sharing this build, you have helped me on something I did not think of!

Built in cooler that just looks like a hatch. I used the lid with AL sandwiched between ply for more strength. Forgot to add that I think it's 36 qt.
