Hello,
I have a 2004 Regal 1800 with the VP 4.3 with 1.66 SX lower. Currently it has a Volvo 14-3/4" X 21p SS prop. I would like to get a aluminum prop for a spare. I did get it out on the water today so here are my answers:
1) Performance issue you are trying to correct: Have a spare prop
2) Current prop manufacturer, model, aluminum or stainless and as a minimum: Volvo Stainless #3860709
3) Current prop diameter and pitch (required): 14-3/4" X 21p
4) Wide open throttle RPM and speed with an average load (very helpful): 4500 rpms 50mph on GPS with 26 gal gas and 650 lbs of people and stuff
5) Engine/drive make, model, year, and HP: 2004 VP 4.3 190 HP
6) Boat make model, year, length and weight: 2004 Regal 1800 2450lbs from mfg
So should i stick with a 21p aluminum prop for a spare? Or go to a 19P just in case i want to pull someone on skis or a tube?
