Seal Carrier Assembly for Alpha 1 Gen 2 is stuck

I have a 1994 Mercruiser Alpha 1 gen 2 stern drive. I am replacing the water pump. The seal carrier assembly under the pump is stuck I have been prying up with screwdrivers in the holes. I have been applying enough pressure that the holes are starting to be deformed. Any ideas I can try to get it to move?

They can be a bugger sometimes. Wiggle wiggle wiggle, aaan n some penetrating fluid. you don't care about wrecking it as it gets replaced anyway.

Soaked it in wd40 all day still stuck

Got it out put everything back together. New water pump etc. Good news no more gear oil leak. On the down side I am not getting any water through the new pump!
