She pulled the throttle back with her foot and applied the brakes. Don't forget, you lose all power when you turn the key off. Going 100 + mph with no powering steering could be fatal. It's worse than driving a car that has manual steering. She tried to take it out of gear too, but it wouldn't........ Just glad it turned out well.....

Sounds like he lifted b/4 impact, then he must of hit the throttle again after impact when he was all twisted up...... Guessing it was a jet boat. They don't turn very well off power......
