i dont know about gary......but i was hoping about news of the assessment....how did that come out....and is he in stable condition.....is a bypass in order here?

Heart cath tomorrow to assess need for repair. Thanks to everyone for their good thoughts. When I am repaired and home, I'll be back!

Had this done twice this year so good luck JB!!! These guys have this stuff down to an art form and will have you out of there in no time. They will make ya stay a night or two though... God Bless.

The procedure was delayed a couple of times because I was more stable than other candidates. The assessment was: 90% occlusion of right coronary artery. No bypass required. Opened it up, added a stent (my third). Came home today. Some convalescing to do.

Dram of single malt and a couple of puffs on a good, Cuban cigar and all is well.

I am overwhelmed at the outpouring of support. My heartfelt thanks to all of you.

I will be on less time for a few days. Grandson Christopher is staying with me to keep me out of trouble and this is his bedroom, so The 'puter will be off at night.
