Need help with primer soleniod lever position

The lever on my primer soleniod was moved and I dont know what the default position is.

The motor is a Johnson 60 hp J60TLCUC

Reading thru the other forums I too have the dreaded "get it to the lake and it wont start/run" problem.

Working on that but for now just need help.

I have attached photos of the solenoid with the lever in all postions.

So youre saying my photo #1 is the correct position for normal operation?
