Wish me luck :D. I'll be taking the boat out today for it's first water test after the Seacast repair. It was 16 deg when I woke up this morning and only 19 deg right now  - a little colder than was forcasted but I'm still going out. The channel in front of my house is frozen over so I'm going across the border to a lake in so. WI. Hope it goes well!

If this weather keeps up it looks like it'll be sooner than later...not that thats a bad thing, i still get my fill of breathing 2 stroke exhaust with the ice auger ;)

Everything went great. The transom is rock solid. It was a little chilly out - found out that a water pressure gauge doesn't work to well in sub freezing weather.

it should as the water had already been thru the head.

I think it was because I fired it up on the hose in the driveway before i went out. The water that was in the line froze by the time i got to the ramp. I think I recall having the same problem last year but after a while it started working again.

Forgot to add in my post above that there was someone water skiing yesterday.....and I thought fishermen were nuts!
